11/10/08 - I am adding some pictures we have taken since moving into our new house.  It has been a bunch of work getting settled in, but we are finally there and finally have our deck finished.  Too bad winter is coming fast and the deck will be covered with snow for the next few months.  Makayla loves Kindergarten and we are all doing well!  We are looking forward to my parents coming for Thanksgiving and a trip back to Texas over Christmas.

8/18/08 - I am adding some updates of this summers activities and some pictures of our house.  We close in a little over a week on 8/27 and are moving in Labor Day weekend.  Makayla started school on 8/5 and all is well.

4/7/08 - I am putting up some pictures of our visit to Vail Village and to Red Rocks.

2/6/08 - The Kime's (Casey, Monica and Makayla) have now relocated to Denver, Colorado.  We moved right around Thanksgiving and are still getting used to the cold here.  It has been a while since I have had a chance to upload pictures so I am going to work on updating what I have over the next couple of weeks.

We are the Kime's (Casey, Monica and Makayla) in Carrollton, Texas.  Casey is creating this website for fun and to showcase his new baby daughter.

Casey and Monica Kime are very pleased to announce the arrival of Makayla Elizabeth Kime born on July 22, 2003 at 12:54 PM.  She weighed in at 9 pounds 15 1/2 ounces and was 21 1/4" long. 

Makayla went to her two week check-up on August 6th and she is now 10 pounds 4 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long.  Both her and Monica are doing great!

Makayla got her first cold today (August 26th).  She now weighs 12 pounds 10 1/2 ounces.

Makayla went to her two month check-up on September 25th and she is now 15 pounds 8 1/2 ounces and 23 1/2 inches long.  She is also cutting two teeth!

Makayla went to her four month check-up on November 24th and she is now 19 pounds 4 ounces and 26 3/4 inches long!  She is still cutting those teeth too.  She is doing great and is really a terrific baby!  We are really blessed to have her!

Makayla went to her six month check-up on January 22nd and she is now 21 pounds 3 1/2 ounces and is 28" long!  She has two teeth on the bottom now and working on more on both top and bottom.  The doctor says she is doing great!  Now if we can get her back to sleeping all night again, we will be set!

Makayla had her 9 month check-up today (4/22).  She is now 25 pounds 10 ounces and is 31 1/4 inches long.  She has 4 teeth and two more on the way!  The doctor keeps telling us what a great job we are doing with her!  We are very proud of our lovely daughter.

As of June 6th, Makayla now has 8 teeth (4 on top and 4 on the bottom).  She is also now walking very well.  She even walked around with shoes on at Uncle Jeff's Birthday party today.

Makayla will be 1 year old this Thursday, July 22nd.  She has her one year check-up that day so I will post the results afterwards.  We just returned today (7/16) from our week long vacation to South Padre Island.  I stayed up and posted the photos along with the Father's Day and Houston Trip pictures.

Makayla went to her one year check-up on July 22nd and she is now 27 pounds 11 ounces and is 31 3/4" long!  The doctor said the molar and canine teeth are coming in.  He said she is doing excellent!  It has been a wonderful first year!

Makayla went to her 15 month check-up on 10/22 and she is now 30 pounds 10 ounces and is 34 1/4" long!  She has several new teeth as well.  The doctor said she will likely be the only girl in the back row of her school photos because she is going to be tall.  He also says we should work on no more bottles by 18 months.  We will see how that goes.

Makayla went to her 18 month check-up on 1/27/05 and she is now 34 pounds 4 ounces and is 34 1/4" long.  She went tot he emergency room two weeks ago with a 105 degree fever from an ear infection, but she is all better now.

Makayla went to her two year check-up on August 5th and she is now 45 pounds and is 36" long!  The first two years have been interesting!

Makayla spent six days in the hospital at the beginning of February with bronchilits/pneumonia at which time they discovered she had obstructive sleep apnea and has since had her tonsils and adenoids removed to try to correct.  She just had a sleep test last Friday and we are awaiting the results to see if this helped or solved the problem.  We are really hoping so.  She has been through a lot already this year! She is currently about 40" tall and 55 pounds.  She will be three next month!

It is almost Thanksgiving (11/12) and I have finally found some time to update the site.  I have a bunch to update it and will do it as I have time this week and try to get it all there.  I appreciate all the requests and interest.  Makayla is doing well and going to start Mother's Day Out on Tuesday.

Today is 5/14/07.  Makayla is in daycare fulltime now and has been enjoying this for a couple of months.  I finally got my new computer all up and running and am now using Microsoft Expressions to try to update this site.  We spent some time last weekend in San Antonio with Jesse and Dahlia and had a great time!

Today is February 9, 2008.  We moved to Denver and became the Kolorado Kime's during Thanksgiving 2007.  We are enjoying it here, but still getting used to the cold winter.  Jwade hooked me up with the latest Microsoft Expression Web software so I am going to get a bunch of pictures updated on here.  I am also working on a new website design.  All is well!
